Mulatu Astatke’s 1972 album Mulatu of Ethiopia is often regarded as his greatest work. As an album, it perfectly showcases some of his finest compositions, making it a true journey from start to finish. While we’d say the whole album is worth enjoying as a complete experience, our personal favorites are Mascaram Setaba, Kulunmanqueleshi, and, of course, that iconic cover!
