This double LP takes us across the border and into Somalia on an incredible musical journey courtesy of this heavy hitting compilation put together by Samy of Analogue Africa.

The result of a 2016 trip to Mogadishu, Samy worked with the team at Radio Mogadisco to trawl through their reel to reel archives and uncover obscure and lesser know tracks that shine a light on Somalia's previously undocumented dance music scene. Tracks span a twenty year period, from the early 70’s and touch on disco, psych-funk and reggae grooves, delivered with beautiful Somalian vocals.

A super funky trip… we especially love the track ‘Ladaney’ and ‘Gobonimada Jira’.
